Notice on Release of Landmine Monitor Report 2001
Author/Origin: Landmine Monitor lmSPAMFLTER@SPATMFLTERicbl.org |
(Tuesday 11 September 2001 ) Due to the tragic events in the United States today, several release locations have chosen to cancel or postpone long-planned events to release the third report of the ICBL’s Landmine Monitor initiative, Landmine Monitor Report 2001, including in Canada, Italy and the US.
Since this is a global report released in several different locations around the world, each contact point can inform you if they intend to go ahead as scheduled. In Brussels, a major event in the Belgian Senate will go ahead as planned, with one minute’s silence to remember the victims of the US tragedy.
The web version of the report will be made available when the embargo is lifted at 00:01 GMT on 12 September and the report will be distributed as planned to participants attending the Third Meeting of States Parties to the Mine Ban Treaty.
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions or would like to receive a copy of the report by mail. Email. SPAMFLTER@SPATMFLTERicbl.org">lmSPAMFLTER@SPATMFLTERicbl.org
